“In Salaspils, every street and its space possesses its own character and features. Conceptually, the Salaspils municipality aims to design streets not merely as monolithic thoroughfares, but as inclusive and pleasant environments for residents and visitors. The authenticity and identity of each street are showcased through various paving types, colors, and patterns. Specific street design ideas are drawn from the surrounding development, the particular environment, and the street space,” says landscape architect Marta Tabaka.
